Mewsbrook Park Café in Littlehampton is hosting a special fundraising quiz night in October to thank West Sussex Wildlife Protection for rescuing a swan that had a stick stuck through its beak and nostrils on the lake in the park.
Nestled in the beautiful Mewsbrook Park, just a two-minute walk from the seafront, the café recently moved to a spacious new venue offering a friendly, comfortable environment with plenty of fresh air. Known for its extensive menu of freshly prepared food, locally sourced wherever possible, the café serves everything from toasted sandwiches and salads to fish and chips, along with a tempting range of hot and cold drinks — and, of course, its famous afternoon tea.
Proceeds from the quiz night will go directly to WSWP, helping us continue our work rescuing and caring for wildlife across West Sussex. Joyce and Michael, our Littlehampton rescuers, will attend the event and be presented with the donations.
We are incredibly grateful to Mewsbrook Park Café for their generosity and for supporting local wildlife. It promises to be a fun evening with a great cause at its heart — and we hope many of our supporters will join in!
